Sunday in the Burg

Well it's Sunday in beautiful Harrisburg.  I just got back from church and it occured to me that I haven't told you that The Silver is set up to be a trilegy.  The first book ends with the plot sort of set up with another book in mind.  I am working on that book now while also working on finalizing the publishing of The Silver.  I think you will like all three books.  The second book will end also with the plot set up for the third book.  You can follow the various members of the Nelson family throughout all three books.  I think you will find all three books enjoyable to read, at least I hope so.  Well this book will not write itself so it's off to work.  Thanks for reading my blog and I hope to hear from you soon.

The Silver

The Silver is about a Mexican woman who imigrated to the United States at a very young age when her husband was killed in a silver mine cave-in.  The whole book is based in Harrisburg Pa. (my home town)  They say write about what you know so I did.  You will get to know her and her US family very well.  Just be prepared to know that there are some things that are different about this family.
This excerpt is from Chapter 1: “He told me many times that I was a formidable woman”, she thought. “He doesn’t know how formidable I can be when I want to be”, she said to herself. She saw a crack of light about twenty feet in front of her and knew she would be alright. It was very hard to breathe now and she discovered just then that she was no longer on her feet but on her knees inching forward at a snails pace. She looked up to the light and it was moving like the shimmering light of the ocean.
“It’s not in focus for some reason, but I can breathe” was her final thought before she passed into the darkness of unconsciousness.

It's Official

Well I just got the word today.  I am now a published author.  I am very happy and hope all of you will buy my new book.  It's called The Silver and it should be out by early next year.  I and my publisher have a lot of work to do to make that happen so please be patient.  Thank You.

New Author

I am officially anouncing myself as a new Author.  While my first book is not quite published yet, I hope it will be soon.  I just want to let you know that I am here and looking foward to hearing from you.  When my book gets published I will let you know all about it.  Thank you for viewing my first post.  I just started doing this today so forgive me if I make some blogging fopahs as I am new to this.
